The Gospel Centers Upon Christ’s Blood

The Gospel of Jesus Christ centers upon and is anchored in His redeeming Cross!

Jesus-blood
Beware of the many Christ-denying preaching, song lyrics, quotes, and books which do not aggrandize – UPHOLD and magnify Jesus Christ – “Not holding the Head.” (Colossians 2:18-19) “The spirit of antichrist” is behind all such subversion (1 John 2:18; 4:1-6).

“For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Matthew 26:28

JESUS washes away ALL the sins of EVERY person who repents! THAT’S WHY He came – to redeem and forgive and dwell with forever! Matthew 26:28; John 17:3; Ephesians 2:6-7; Colossians 1:14; 1 John 2:1-2, etc.!!!!!

False teachers promise victory and success outside of Christ’s cross. Yet it is only when Jesus remits the sins of the repentant who are believing upon Him, that “all power” from Christ in Heaven is given them to overcome Satan.

“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven (due to Christ’s blood).” Luke 10:18-20

After dying on that cross, being buried, and rising from the dead, Jesus sent for His body:

erase sin
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20

It is only and as one is submitted to God by repentance and faith in the blood of the Redeemer, that he is able by Christ to resist Satan and overcome him:

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

Submitting ourselves to God is initially and perpetually centered at Christ’s redeeming cross (blood)!

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” Matthew 26:26-29

What is it that Jesus wanted us to supremely remember? What did the Son of God never want us to forget?

“And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:24-25

The death of the LORD Jesus Christ on the cross where His sinless, divine blood was shed, is of paramount, essential importance and should not only never be forgotten but celebrated unto we are with Him!

You will recall how Jesus emphasized the forgiveness of sins which is through His blood …. “the blood of his cross.” (Colossians 1:20)

i die daily
Mat_9:5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

Mar_2:9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?

Luk_5:23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:5-6

“He must increase but I must decrease.” John 3:30
Did you hear the cross when you listened to a supposedly biblical message? If not, you are being misled and were listening to a wolf in sheep’s clothing …..
The cross-less message is why you are where you are now. Continuing to feed on and fund the wolves who are the very “enemies of the cross of Christ” is rebellion (Philippians 3:18-19; 2 John 7-11). It’s time to hearken to the Master – His teachings have not changed one bit. It’s time for you to die and let Him reign! The cross requires a deliberate worship-filled obedience.
